One of the 3 Hungarian classic desserts we recreated as a thick sour. Rákóczi Túrós is a stylish layered cake your Hungarian mother would carefully bake for special family events. Thanks to the balance of real apricot and vanilla, it never gets flat or boring!

Can, thx vgdogy! Murky orange, almost no head. Cookie aroma, light apricot, light alcohol, some vanilla. Tart taste, vanilla, light apricot, lactose, sticky but fine. Okay overall, pretty good really.

Can, 0.33l. Hazy orange/copper pour, juice-like appearance. No head, no lacing. Interesting nose, candy and, fruity notes. Liquory, unusually strong alcohol on the nose. Quite strong, this one. Full body, soft carbonation. Oily texture, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. This is just awesome on the palate, very smooth. Balanced sour and sweet taste. Salty aftertaste, interesting. Strong fruity aroma, lots of apricot. Candy, molasses. Syrupy. Citruses in the background, tart. Quite sticky. Lingering alcohol presence, vodka, quite subtle actually, nowhere near as strong as the nose would suggest. It does get stronger later on as it warms up. Long lasting finish. Quite interesting and different. Very tasty, would definitely pick this one up again.

Can. Light haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous, decent fine carbonation. Fucken intense blink inducing apricot. You don't need Belgian levels of awful acid sourness to get intense fruits, here is the proof. The light saltiness emphasises it further. Vanilla sweetness brings everything back from the brink and rounds it off. Marvellous!

0.33 l can from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy orange, minimal head. Alcohol at first, juice-vodka, apricot liqueur, high alcohols. Floral perfumy notes after a twirl. Salty! Strong. Apricot juice. Body quite light. Oily and slick. Tart ripe apricot, peach and orange. Orange cake soaked with liqueur. Puckering, quite sour. Moderate carbonation. Finish is salty, sour and bitter blood orange. Interesting but too boozy and burning with high alcohols.

330ml can. Clear amber gold with some sediment, white head. Aroma is very sweet, vanilla, candied apricot. Taste is extremely sweet, creamy vanilla and lactose, tart apricot, salt. Medium body, doesn't taste the 10%. A lovely imperial gose but it's just so, so sweet, I'm glad this was only a 330 can. Even sharing this it was a bit much.

Unclear, orange colored, small off white head. Sweet vanilla, apricot aroma, moderate tart. Taste is very sweet fruit, apricot, vanilla, tart fruits, moderate tartness, quite sweet finish, light alcohol. Medium bodied, soft to flat carbonation, oily to creamy. Sugary tartness... messy. Interesting flavors but not balanced.
