500ml bottle from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. Clear gold, small white head. Aroma is light pale grainy malts, sweet and citrusy. Taste is orange zest, grains, grassy bitter finish. Yes quite a crisp finish as advertised. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, has a refreshing quality like a lager but more of a bitter kick. Not wowed but its ok.

Bottle from Appleyards Delicatessen, Shrewsbury. Clear golden with a small carbonation and a head. A fairly smooth textured hoppy ale, it has a very light bitterness to proceedings.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is floral and grassy with a bit of dough and lemon peel. Taste is mildly bitter. Faintly tart undertones at the finish that stay just underneath. Lightish body, crisp, clean finish. Pleasant.

500ml bottle from Becketts Farm Shop, Wythall. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, malt, lime citrus, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very moreish.

Bottle online from The Hobsons Brewery. Pours a slightly hazy light amber/straw colour with a large thick creamy white head. Aromas of light citrus, floral, white bread and a little peppery spice. Taste is citrus lemon, floral, peppery spice and also a touch of herbal. Fresh lingering grassy hop on the finish. Medium body with a very smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Fresh thirst quenching beer, it would be great on a hot summers day . Nice

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Only a vague nose could be detected – oranges and apples. In the mouth the immediate reaction is the sweetness and creamy texture. Plenty of fruits in the mix, oranges, melons, berry fruits with hints of hops. Finish is fruity. Bit of a strange one, not a run of the mill bitter, but not sure what else to call it. – a “fruity bitter” ?

500ml bottle: BBE Sep 2021. Drank at home on 24th Jul 2020. No sediment left the bottle, so I got a clear golden bodied ale with a decent white head on it. Aroma held some fruitiness, with orange like esters to the fore, taste also fruity and again oranges coming through. Pleasant enough without getting me too excited.
