The latest instalment in our New Romantic series is inspired by what’s known as Drottningsylt or The Queens Jam in English. The beer is loaded to the brim with seasonal Nordic berries. Blueberry, Blackberry, Lingonberry and Boysenberry combine to make your taste buds sing and remember the summer just gone.

On tap at Hoppy Corner, pours a cloudy reddish amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of pithy berries, with some thorns, and a little lacto. Flavour is beer yogurty, with dry, tart berries and lots of lacto. Not the brightest Berliner, but the mix of fruits is pretty solid, even if it does seem a bit muffled. Solid.

Can shared by TdeRoeck. Bright pink color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste both have a lot of fruit and there is something weird in it tastewise, hard to describe, nonetheless, I think it's quite refreshing. I like it!

21/XII/19 - 44cl can as a gift, shared @ home, BB: 3/VII/20 - (2019-2170) Thanks to Erwin for the can!
Pretty clear deep pink to carmine or almost ruby red beer, small creamy light pink head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: some sulphur on opening the can, acidic impression, some lactose, sour berries, salty touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft acidity, bit watery, lemony touch, soft bitterness, hint of raspberries, some tannins. Aftertaste: berries, pretty sourish, bit watery, soft bitterness, raspberries, some tannins.
