330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of sweet oaky scotch, raisins, a little iodine, and soft toasty malts. Flavors of scotch, sugary raisins, bread crust, and toasted malts. A bit strong on the scotch, but a good sipper.

Tap. Unclear deep amber-brown color with beige head. Aroma is green apple peel, caramel, raisins, wood. Taste is the same. Thick oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Quite good, but it will be better with some age I think - the green apple is strong in this one (but in a way I like)

Na zo'n klapper van daarnet, is dit gewoon bijna supermarktkwaliteit.

19/VIII/18 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent) - BB: n/a (2018-1062)
Little cloudy deep amber to red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweetish impression, lots of dried fruits, whisky notes, some caramel, soft roast. MF: full body. Taste: lots and lots of caramel, sugary, malty, some chocolate, lots of alcohol, bit malty, little bitter, chocolate. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, lots of whisky, alcohol, dried fruits, more alcohol. Nice flavours, but the alcohol shines through a bit too much.
