From cask at Hole in the Wall, Waterloo, 13.04.25. Clear ruby. Aroma and taste of sweet cherries, cheery jam and almonds. Good drinkability and definitely suitable for my sweet tooth.

I've yet to try a persimmon in life. Cherries and berries I've had plenty of, this is cherry heavy of the two in its name. Aroma too.

Clear bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear red with a small, rough, off-white head. Intense - artificial - cherry sauce and marzipan aroma. Medium body, cloyingly sweet cherry notes with absolutely no tartness. About as far from decent Cider as you can possibly come. Sticky, sugary shit. 071024

500ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Dissipating pinkish head, clear reddish body, missing head. Modest smell of mid-dry berries. Taste of almond and sweet cherries. Mid-dry and sweet ending. Soft mouthfeel. About drinkable. Sweet soft drink-like. Did not empty the bottle. (Tromsø, 04.08.2024).

September 2020: 500 ml clear bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.0%. Clear and deep red colour, pours moderately sparkling with a shortlived pink head. Strong aroma of cherries, cherry kernels, almonds, a hint of vomit, blackberries. Very sweet flavour (too sweet), notes of cherries and red / dark berries again, hints of marzipan. Won't buy again.

On tap at Hops, Crewe (presumably BIB). Pours strawberry red with little carbonation. There’s some vague berry fruits in the aroma, but not much. Sweet in the mouth, with apples initially, then some cherries after a while and finally strawberries becoming the main flavour. It’s a bit bland and ordinary.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Purple, clear and flat. Cherryade aroma with a bit of black grape. Saccharine taste, overly sweet and artificial. Light body, no carbonation. While not actively unpleasant, this is hard to recommend.
