Scientists say eating a few fresh slices of pineapple every day can boost energy, clean your organs and nourish hair, skin, nails and teeth. (Really boffins?) Hmm, while we cant confirm its health benefits we do know that a: it splits pizza lovers. And b: it makes for a great-tasting session IPA. And weve formulated a juicy, fruity, light in body one thats crisp and refreshing. With big hits of grapefruit and citrus adding to the prickly wonder, weve created a brew that screams crushable. Experiment. Try one (or two) to test our claims. Apparently, pineapples ripen faster upside down too. Incredible, our cans pour quicker upside down as well.

440ml can @ Station. Pours a hazy milky yellow, large white head. Aroma is oat mist, gentle pineapple. Taste is oaty smooth with pleasant pineapple nuances.. reassuringly remains a pale ale rather than the pure pineapple juice other breweries seem to be releasing of late. Great balance with brisk carbonation, some citrussy shades. Very good.

440ml can from Hop Knocker, Durham. Hazy yellow gold colour, big foamy white head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of pineapple, citrus hop. Taste is malt caramel, oats, with juicy pineapple and zesty citrus & pine hoppy bitterness. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry hoppy tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
