Contract brewed at De Proefbrouwerij for Beer52 using the Korean Wild Wave brewery brand.

"Our head brewer and master collaborator, Chris J.J. Heaney came along to help facilitate the conversation and ultimately craft the recipes for the beers in partnership with the participants."

A funky IPA refermented with brettanomyces, giving a nice twist on the style. With a dry finish that amplifies fruit flavours and even gives a perceived sweetness, along with a light peppery spiciness.

Monday 30th Sep 2019; Shrewsbury Monthly Share in Chez Sophie. One of my offerings (from Beer 52), a 330ml bottle; BB 28th Dec 2019. Clear golden body, white head. Light herbal/floral/yeasty nose, taste leaning towards the same, semi-sweet, semi-brett like. Better than I expected to be honest.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, sep 19. Thanks Jeremy for this. Clear gold appearance, small white head. Good bretty nose. Simplistic sugary bretty floral character overall. Fine.

[33cl bottle from the Beer52 box for February.] A pale amber pour with a billowing white head and heavy carbonation; weak tropical fruit aroma; quite dry in the mouth with a fruity taste and a grainy body; leaving a slightly sour finish.

Appearance is amber with a slight haze, a pure white one-finger head. Aroma- pineapple, orange hints, caramel malt, slight funkiness, fruity hops. Taste- hops, mango and orange, hint of grapefruit, stewed funky fruit. Bitter finish.
