24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, bread, fruit, veg and berries. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Good looking beer, otherwise okay.

# 3416; 1/2023. Roasty, woody, cherry aroma. Brilliant amber body; persistent off-white head. Fruity, cherry, dried fruits, earthy, roasty, grainy, slightly honey. Very drinkable. Excellent bitter for me. 0,5 l, bottle, shop, East Lyton (North England, UK).

Cask @ Bailey Head. Pours amber, with a well-appointed off-white head. Aroma has light twiggy toffee. Taste is extremely light on the palate with a pleasant subtle sweetness, a bit twiggy and light, but fine for a simple bitter.

Cask @ Polished Knob, Todmorden. Deep amber with a creamy head and a mild floralness, also a mild sweetness to its hoppiness, with the sum of its parts somewhat dank. it does look the part though.
