Another 4th of July drink and another anniversary on US Independence Day as it's also the anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase, expanding the territory in the early 19th century. On the sweet side cider with a lovely deeper glowing golden colour. Its apple is healthy with a lovely tangy bitterness to finish.

Keg at Drygate. Pours clear red with a thin white head. Aromas of vimto, not much else. Taste is berries and light dry funk. Dry finish.

25/5/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear amber bronze with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is lightly funky, raspberry, apple, touch of syrup, bretty notes. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, tart edge. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, raspberry and cream finish with subtle tart. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Reddish amber colour, white foam head that dissipates to a bubbly rim and aroma of raspberry, apple, funky. Taste is tart, apple, funk, acetic with raspberry notes and some drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry raspberry & alittle funk lingering at the finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours a relatively clear pink, bubbly white head. Raspberry and soft brett on the nose. Quite a fruity, sharp, character, strong carbonation, subtle brett / wild element.. went well with a pizza with edible flowers.
