01.2023 Aromat mało intensywny, palony, prażony, gorzka czekolada. Piana znikająca o kolorze brązowo czarnym, czarne nieprzejrzyste. W smaku palone, czekolada gorzka, kakao i kawa zbożowa. Jest słodkie troszkę goryczy dobrze zbalansowane, orzechowe. Niskie nasycenie, lepkie wyklejające, dużo ciała, alkohol wyczuwalny, rozgrzewający ale nie nachalny. Ogólnie piwo wydaje się trochę za mało intensywne, wydaje się jakby z dodatkiem soli. Jednakże jest dobre ogólnie

Tap at Brewdog, Bristol sampled Nov 2017. Pours dark brown towards black with no head. Aroma: fruity, dark berries, raisins, liquorice, molasses. Moderate to heavy sweet & heavy bitter, burnt sugar, bitter roast, dark chocolate, liquorice. Medium to full body with no carbonation.

Sample during Craft Beer Helsinki 2019 weekend, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small brown head. Aromas and flavous: Coffee, cacao and roasted malts. OK.

(Keg at Craft Beer Helsinki 2019) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, coffee and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A very pleasant burnt brew that hid its very high ABV well.

Barwa czarna, nieprzyjrzyste, piana ciemnobeżowa, obfita, dość drobna i trwała. W aromacie kawa, czekolada, ciemne ciasto. W smaku sporo kawy, gorzekiej czekolady, ciemnego ciasta, lekko kakao, piernik. Paloność zadziwiająco niska, goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie niskie, alkohol prawie niewyczuwalny, sporo ciała, gęste, zaklejające. Brakuje złożoności, beczki i agresywności, ale mimo to jest całkiem konkretne, można się tym piwem "najeść". Do beczki poproszę.

Bottle, 15%. Very fruity aroma, slightly acidic, bready and yeasty. Black colour. Very small light brown head. The flavour is slightly bready and has a good chocolate note. Late bitterness. The carbonation is a little higher than expected in a beer of this strength. Creamy mouthfeel. Sweet finish. Mild alcohol warmth.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of malt, roast and alcohol, with hints of fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish notes of chocolate and lactose and touches of smoke and barrel. Roasty aftertaste with estery and lactic hints. Warming alcohol presence. Not bad but unnecessarily strong.

Bottle. Almost black color, dark coffee foam. Aroma: caramel, pie crust, prunes, brandy, dried fruits, strong, sweet, light smoke. Taste: prunes, burnt, peel pie with cognac, good one.

Butelka 330ml BARWA : czarne , nieprzejrzyste. PIANA: brązowa, bardzo niska, szybko znika. AROMAT: po otwarciu pierwszy plan sos sojowy (dość mocny, jednakże po kilku minutach traci na mocy i jest znośny - nie przeszkadza), słodkie ciemne suszone owoce , gorzka czekolada, alkohol jak na 15 % bardzo dobrze ułożony, delikatna paloność. SMAK: w smaku jest ciekawiej jak w aromacie, gorzka czekolada z słonawym finiszem, ziemistość, goryczka kawowa z umiarkowaną palonością i delikatną likierowością. Niskie wysycenie, i jak na 34blg (spodziewałem się ulepku) a musiało głęboko odfermentować bo ani jakoś mega gęste ani pełne. Nie jest to jeden z lepszych Risów (których w PL nie brakuje) bardziej ciekawostka przez swoją moc, aczkolwiek póki co O2028 zRadugi najlepszy.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Hoppy Loft. Dark brown to black. No head. Nose is wet dog, rotting wood, harsh booze. Thin, plastic harsh, vegetable, plastic, thin poor, weak, hard to drink, very subpar RIS honouring an absolute masterpiece of a movie.
