Bottle from Scrattings. Clear gold with circular bubbled retention. Aroma of apple cores, wood, light vanilla, touch of damp cardboard. Taste has a slight acidity, apple juice comes through quite fruity, definitely dry wood notes, light vanilla, mellow in finish but with a nice bitterness and spicy hints. Medium body with a nice tingly carbonation. Really nice taste to this.

9/5/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of apple, vanilla, lightly funky and woody, with a hint of coconut. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body. Light dry finish.

500ml bottle from Scrattings. Slightly hazy golden colour, no head and aroma of wood barrel, formic, oak, vanilla, mellow apple. Taste is juicy apple, sweetish, with some woody oak barrel, vanilla and alittle citric tartness and light tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry smooth & mellow finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from a shop in Mortahoe, North Devon. Pours a lightly misty gold. Aroma is medium sweet pure apple fruit. Taste is fruity yet dry, clearly a high juice content, subtle tannin, nice richness on the finish, but again finishing dry. Pretty good.
