Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours dull gold with a small head. Aroma is sharp grapefruit. Taste has light grapefruit and straw, slightly sharp in places.

Hand-pulled half-pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Golden body, clean and bright, on top a white crust. Tropical fruit front, back and sides, pink grapefruit being the main player for me.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a head. Has a hoppy-fruity bitterness and a light citrus fruitiness. Some sweetness is evident in its nose.

Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Clear deep gold, white topping. Big and unexpected tropical juice coming through, fairly rich and sweet with um bongo, pineapple, grapefruit with lingering sweet citrus fruit. Good sweet golden ale Salopian-style.
