10/2/2020. Cask at the Crown, Worcester. Pours hazelnut brown with an off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark plummy fruit, chocolate, sweet coffee, caramel, nut and touch of liquorice. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness with a slight tart edge. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Bottle from Saxo tasting. Clear brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 031119

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, roast malt, nuts and hops. Sweet finish.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Milk chocolate brown and hazy with a small khaki head. Chocolate milk, a bit of posset, some coffee, some stone fruit. Tastes sweet with notable balancing bitter hops. It's a bit sickly, and I feel like something about it isn't quite right, but it's decent enough to finish anyway. Not the best beer of the evening...

500ml bottle, from Hop Pocket. Pours black, thin pale tan head. Aroma has some light treacle, soft roasted notes. Taste is fairly light with gentle chocolate and treacle notes, soft dark fruits, decent light English porter.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival 2/2/2018. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, tan, head. Chocolate, some coffee beans and a touch of leafy, with a dryish finish. Good.
