Can via Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Friday 23rd March 2018 whilst cooking a Keema Curry. Pours dirty gold with a big bubble white covering, soft mouthfeel, a little lactose, a little light honey sweetness. Fruity but restrained, a little touch of lemon grass, bitter bite does start to come through. Good but not the best from Black Iris. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Can. Beer Ritz online. Super chic, hazy gold. Fully lacing, creamy, dense, white head. Looks the part, definitely. Nose has creamy oats. Some lemon and pineapple. Taste is creamy sweet, with a punchy, zesty bitterness. Smooth and milky on the palate. Citrus bitterness to finish. It’s ok enough, but the sweet and bitter doesn’t gel as well as it might.

Tried an the trip home from Nottingham. Golden colour, with a white head. Aroma floral and creamy. Taste smooth maybe some vanilla light sweet. Smooth and creamy body.
