750 ml corked & caged green bottle, unreasonably pricey, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 3.5%. I am not sure that the 5% version actually exists. Clear and pale golden colour, sparkling, with a large white head that lasts a while. Fresh aroma of eating apples / dessert apples. Medium sweet and refreshing flavour of ripe eating apples, with some acidity, a hint of plums.

75cl bottle from a deli in Chamonix. Pours clear gold, small white head Aroma of clean stewed apples. Taste is rich, deep, clean, slick on the palate with good effervescent bubbles. Good fruity character with a stewed apple sweetness and light caramel, lots going on for 3%. Very good.

Bottle from Astor Wines. 3.5%abv edition. Perfect pint glass. Honey gold, opaque body. Constant, enthusiastic, beaded carbonation. Nose tingling, macerated apples on the nose. Leafy. Taste is juicy, underfermented, chalky, & has an ever so faint farmhouse note. Microbeaded carbonation, with a tart red apple finish. Okay, but I remember this having more character.

750 ml bottle 2012 vintage. Unclear golden body with a medium sized (at least for a cider) white head. Mild, smooth apple aroma, apple core and a hint of sulfur. Nice refreshing sweet and light acidic apple flavor, mature apples and apple core. Medium body and a bit sweet in aftertaste. Quite good one, just order another from the Vinmonopoly today.

Bottle, 75cl corked. Vintage 2012, 5% ABV. A lightly unclear one, pale orange-golden in color and with some white bubbles on top. The aroma has lots of sweet apples, some notes of orchard and a touc of lemon in the far back. It’s semi-sweet on the palate, full to medium bodied and with a little carbonation. Lots of sweet apples, apple jam, in the flavor. A pleasant apple core like bitterness chimes in towards the finish, as well as some notes of raisins. A tasteful and pleasant one, well worth a revisit. 131123

Bottle @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours hazy pale yellow with very tiny airy off-white head. Clear aroma of sweet, juicy apples. Well-balanced sweet and sour flavour of fermented apples, with subtle carbonation and pleasant alcohol overtones, especially in the aftertaste. Really good.
