Reviewed from notes.
Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: burnt orange to almost copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy hop bitterness with a less expressive sweetness to it and clean caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to an "old-school" sort of clean bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes malty clean and hoppy bitter with a light dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied - perhaps closer to medium just a wee bit; sessionable; some smoothness to it - in a dry sort of way; good carb level; medium hop bitternes assertiveness
Overall: could this be any more old school in it's quality? well, I didn't mind this for me.

Well my hopes wern’t very high for this one and well i was right to not get excited. Whoa, there is alot of caramel in here for an ipa. I can see where they are going with this, ut the tiny tinge of piney hops and the huge dose of caramel malts just ain’t gonna cut it. As an entry level ipa you can buy in a 6er, yeah it will probably sell well. But as an ipa, i just dont see it. Apa at best, probably should be and english pale ale.

Very hazy pale amber with big white head. Lovely fruit aroma. Medium body with plenty of texture and fine carbonation. Taste is good all the way, and very nice. Fruity start and long gentle hoppy bitterness. Notes of biscuit malt. Very good.

Karamelline vana koolikas, veits mesine, aga mõrudust ja vaiku võiks siin ikka palju palju rohkem olla. Ok.

Bottle from the Christmas market, Annecy. Pours a misty golden amber, small white head. Aroma has strong caramel malt. Taste similar has a big hit of crystal malt, some underlying citrus with a confident bitter bite. Quite a flavoursome old-school IPA, not my preferred style, but it's decent.
