Hazy gold with a rich white head. Big juicy orange notes. Lots of juicy orange with some peel bitterness. Super orange.

Can picked up from Bayleys of Bromsgrove, consumed at home Saturday 14th April 2018, whilst cooking Herby Spatchcock Chicken with crisp Chickpeas and Wild Garlic Labneh another meal from the April BBC Good Food Magazine. Light gold, almost dark straw in colour, slight haze, with a sticky white head. Nice bitterness and a good counter to the NEIPAs, this (I'm presuming) is more in the mould of a traditional IPA, a touch furry, bitter, dry, citrussy. Damn good. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Can. Hazy gold - orange beer, tidy cream colour head. Semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, a light creamy sweetness. Mild fresh orange, and orange peel. Very light piney hop and spice. A bare whisper of tropical fruits before the light finish. Drinkable but this is not going to worry the big IPA brewers.

330ml can. Pours a misty gold, medium white head. Nice pleasantly fruity hoppy aroma. Taste is light, fluffy with soft fruity floral notes. Light bitter finish. Ideal pintworthy contender. Not hugely hoppy but nicely balanced for the strength with gentle fruity moments.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden/amber body with a medium off-white. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pear skin and cigarette butt. Flavour of lime chutney and rice cake. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fIzz. Very dry and nowhere close to the high standard of Almasty’s best IPAs.
