Inspired by the strong, yet fruity and deceptively drinkable IPAs coming out of New England, a version of this IPA was first brewed to celebrate our second birthday back in March. For the 10 Barrel Series brew we boosted the ABV to 7% and added more hops – 14kg in the kettle and 10kg as a dry hop. Like Session Pale Ale v2, NEIPA was fermented with a Vermont ale yeast.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly sugary, caramel malty and fruity hoppy aroma, notes of tangerine, orange, some resin, a touch of juniperberry and glue. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, notes of tangerine, orange, some mango.

Bottle at home, from Grumpy Goat, 8th December 17. Pours a straw beer with a slight haze. Aroma is peach, tropical fruit. Taste is really peachy, floral, little bitterness, but I still like this, malt comes through. It's good.

330ml bottle. Pours a dirty amber, small off-white head. Aroma bears some nice exotics. Taste is smooth, a little yeasty perhaps, lots of tropical fruit exotics with a curious berry-like sweetness coming into play. Malt nudges in on the finish with some light pithy moments. Nice fruity, soft IPA.

Light haze on this gold beer, tidy cream colour head, Palate is smooth and mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth and light malts with a nice light sweetness. Mild hop spice into a pleasant blueberry topped tropical fruit medley. Even a little strawberry in there. Light floral sweet burst before the citric peel bitterness on the finish. Nice array of fruity hops and yeast with a light malt base. Good stuff.
