Had to give this a try whilst visiting for a CAMRA Award presentation for this very beer (Shropshire Brewers Cup, customer beer of the festival at both Shrewsbury CAMRA and Oktoberfest) - and it is very lovely! Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a soft floral and fruity nose. Light to medium bodied, very smooth, near creamy, it's nice and fruity with a subtle light biscuit malt backbone. Far from extreme, but fabulously drinkable (I had more than one).

500ml bottle – Pours with a light haze, golden in colour with a decent sized mostly lasting foamy white head. Aroma is light toasted malts, floral with some citrus hop notes. Moderately light sweet malt taste, some hay and floral flavour and a drying bitterness in the finish.

Danke an minutemat. Trockener, bitter fruchtiger Beginn nach Holunderblüten. Konstant bleibend, erfrischend, runde Herbe, leicht steigende Aromatik. Mittellanger, ziemlich trockener Abgang. Gefällt. 9/9/9/9/5/9

On cask at the White Horse in Clun. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - lemon and toffee if you look hard enough. Taste - dry toffee nuts and citrus on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - very drinkable.

Hand-pulled pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire on 11th March 2016. Clear deep golden pour with a lasting white head. Made with Mosaic Hops and Elderflowers apparently, got some citrus notes from the hops but failed to find any Elderflower flavours. Decent enough with a good bitter finish.
