Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear, orangey amber with a lacing off-white head. Nose has some Belgian-style yeast and a hint of spices. Medium body, sweet caramel with the Xmas spices becoming more prominent - but apparently it isn't spices but mulberries that give the christmasy feel in combination with the Belgian yeast. No biggie, but actually a well composed ale for the festive season. 080218

Bottle 750ml. @ home. [ As Svaneke MENY Jule Ale 2017 ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, some kind off fruit - berry (asume it is the morbær - mulberries). Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, spicy yeast, belgium yeast, caramel, light fruit - berry (asume it is the morbær - mulberries). Bottle from Meny. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. metallic and berries not that present. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

0,75 flaske fra Meny Borups alle København, delt med Kirsten M på hytta nov-17: uklar rødgylden med kort skum. Aroma og smak av preget av moreller og kirsebær, med litt krydder og fikensødme. Karboneringen forsvant fort, så munnfølelsen ble nokså slapp. Avslutter friskt og interessant, men taper seg fort.

[Copenhagen 2017] Thanks to yespr! Sampled draft @ SKAAL. Dark amber, little head. Nose is heavy liquorice DE fish guts yeast, sugar. Cloying plastic, DE fish guts, plastic, liquorice. Thick plastic, like some kind of strange DE cloying affair, not my thing.

From tap. Pours cler and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Fruity, slight marmelade. Bitter, fruity, kild sweet. Light toasted malty. Mild fruity. Bitter and slight fruity finish.
