Bottle from Stori. Appearance - amber with a light haze. Big fluffy head. Nose - banana and light toffee. Plant stalks. Taste - more green plant stalks. Still some toffee, but less of the banana. Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture. Bitter finish. Overall - a bit like a strong English Bitter with some definite evidence of Belgian yeast.

Tried at the Dee-pings Beer Festival 2016 . Amber colour with a white head. Aroma slightly yeasty with a big citrus and fruity happiness. Bittersweet taste with a big bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Discount Supermarket, Cardiff. Pours murky orange, medium receding off-white head. Aroma is candi fruits, Belgian triple yeast. Taste is sweet with what seems to be a battle between mosaic hop and yeast for the overall character. It’s nice, citrussy with some nice colourful sweet moments, but perhaps suffering from an identity crisis.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2016. Clear amber colour lasting beige bubbly head. sweet earthy bread aroma. Some sweetness from the abv. I mean it’s earthy and unsubtle and not very refined. A little homebrew if you will. Hides abv well

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Sticky, messy, off white head. Aroma of barley sugar. Peach and peach stone. Some citrus zest. Taste is very sweet, first off, turning zesty, pithy bitter. Mouthfeel is full, and a bit gooey. Finishes fairly long, turning earthy, bitter. Overall, too sweet and sticky for a Tripel.
