Keg at the Mouse Trap Inn, Bourton On The Water, 13/03/20. Almost clear light golden with a decent white cap. Nose is crisp apple, grass, caramel, light sugar icing. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, residual sugar, light tannins, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent refreshing cider.

Tap at the brewery to finish off the tour. Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of sweet fresh apple juice. Taste is light sweet, fresh apples, hint of citrus. A highly refreshing cider after sampling all their lagers.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farm shop. Pours hazy River Severn brownish gold. Aroma is straw and ripe green apples. Taste is lemon-tinted scrumpy with a very light sparkle. No ’off’ flavours (cheese, sweat etc..) and minimal tannins present. Just a very drinkable cider that I could easily quaff by the pint in the right circumstances.

Cask, gravity at Chadlington Beer Festival, Chadlington Village Hall, Oxon, 05-06-10 Cloudy straw colour. Its lemony and fruity, with apple showing. Refreshing and fine and I can see this being quite a hit with many as it seems ok but I just got the impression that this was very commercial, in fact much like the beers that Cotswold do it was very clinical that’s certainly not a bad thing in terms of consistency but its just seemed a bit mass produced to me, I was really surprised when I saw the website and the write up as I was convinced that this was going to be an alias of a big firms cider.
