Unfiltered, pale lager beer.
A solid lager beer of the typical Czech type. The slightly foggy colour might remind you of the princess with golden hair, combing her braids in the morning haze. The fundamental taste of the good old times with strokes of ripe apricots and graded gingerbread heart is balanced by the manly bitterness of the hops. We recommend it to the experts and to the advanced ones.

Sweetish with perfume, floral hops and a hint of fruity hops. Robust and complex for the style. Excellent.

Can from Covenhoven: pours slightly misty gold with a white head. Aroma is grainy, lightly floral and perfumey. Taste is mellow and a but crisp, but definitely more understated malts than crispness. Tremendously smooth and easy to drink.

Can from The Wine Thief. This beer has an almost opaque, gold color to it. the carbonation from the bottom of the glass and the thick, rocky head makes it look like a hefeweizen. Aroma of yeast and grain. flavor is interesting, with a lot of yeast and malt flavor, and a very light, almost sour flavor which I would attribulte to the lack of filtration and the prominent yeast from the aroma and flavor. While this is a great lager, it lacks the crisp hops common to many Czech pils and is in that way more like a German kellerbier. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Bright golden, cloudy, lasting creamy head. Just beautiful. Sweet cereal aroma, fresh bread. Taste is more of the sweet, velvety malts, rich, creamy. Simple but luxurious. Just amazing. This brew deserves every point I gave it.
