“Grisette can mean a number of things from ‘women in a grey dress’ to grey’apron’ and ‘lady of the evening’ after the French Revolution to describe the peasant street walkers of the time. It can also mean hop pickers or women who served beer to miners. One thing these all have in common is the color grey. Our favorite shades of grey are contained on a small three legged cat we adopted several years ago that no one else wanted. Oliver is quite a character and after 8 years still doesn’t realize that he’s missing a back leg.

Think of Oliver as you enjoy this Grisette.”

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Clear yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, a slight tart hint, a light bitter hint, slightly tart-bitter fruitpeel notes. Interesting and quite pleasant.

Bouteille 75cl bought at the source in Tarpon Springs.
