This is on the medium end of the dry cider spectrum and is distinctively (and variably) hazy rather than filtered to clarity. We feel that keeps it “closer to the apple” than commercially produced draught ciders. It’s a revival of the traditional style of cider we used to enjoy prior to the development of today’s national brands. It’s gently sparkling rather than gassy because we believe that makes it easier to drink and lets you taste the superb apple flavour.

Keg at the Firefly, Worcester, 07/09/22. Rich golden orange with a moderate white cap that thins to a swirl and spotting. Nose is crisp apple, tannins, bitter sweet, light sugars, hint of caramel. Taste comprises sharp apples, orchard wood, herb, funk, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Sample courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Orangey golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is sweet, apple, some core, fruity, juicy, sugary, with funk hint and light drying tannin. Medium bodied, ligth carbonation, medium-sweet tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Draft @ Prince of Wales, Ledbury. Nice to see Robinsons doing a draft cider. This is a golden coloured, medium dry and lightly sparkling cider, accessible and pleasantly fruity without diving into the sweetness too much. Very nice.
