Cask at the Old Hand & Diamond, Coedway on the England/Wales border. This was like a ghost brew.. slipped down the throat cool and smooth without so much of a whisper of malts, hops or character whatsoever. Disappointing.

4.6% ABV: hand-pulled pint in The Shrewsbury Hotel (a Spoons) on 1st Nov 2012. Amber and clear body, off-white head that produced some good lacing. Biscuity malts in the nose and taste, fruity, fairly sweet (caramel and toffee notes) and with a very mild hop bitterness the finish. A toffee apple feel to the whole thing.
