Intense sweet malty with layers of caramel and toffee like sweetness, some dried fruit shred and spices, lovely mouthfeel and body and coalescence of brandy, cognac and bourbon laced barrel action into the malty lingering close. Glorious.

VSOP cognac and brandy go far, some heat to this but in a nice way, but the dominate flavors are definitely those two barrels, dried fruit and hints of licorice and cloves.

500 ml bottle shared by tfontana, thank you! Aroma is grapey brandy, leather hints, mild bourbon. Flavor is malty with notes of toffee, oak, grapes, dark fruit and soft bourbon finish. Leans on the sweet side but delicious!!

Bottle pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. Cloudy, dark brown with nice viscosity, thin cap of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, brandy, mild bourbon. Taste is strong caramel, brandy, cognac. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Delivers as advertised.
