Pours an extraordinarily pale yellow colour, with just a bit of haziness to it. Average sized white head, quite good retention and nice lacing. Aroma: citric sourness upfront with lemonish notes, a touch of herbal/grassy freshness and maybe a hint of saltiness, suggesting a moderately sour, refreshing beer; not rich though, in terms of both complexity and intensity. Taste: minimal, pretty neutral maltiness (maybe just a grainy hint), sourness indeed moderate and mainly citric with perhaps a lactic hint. Very light saltiness. Hoppier than usual per style with a refreshing herbal feel and maybe even a hint of floral hops. A delicate but pleasantly refreshing taste on the whole. Light body, average, delicately crispy carbonation; very much an easy drinker for a sour, perhaps even a little too quick. Overall: much less sour and delicately hoppier than a standard berliner. Fine as a refresher, but not much more than that.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some rustic malt notes and some nice tropical hoppy undertones. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with some rustic malt notes and some floral tropical undertones with no noted acidity. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable juicy and hoppy berliner weisse.

Tap at La Linterna Ciega, Sevilla, Spain. Pours pale gold, partially hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is fruity, estery, citrus. Body is average, with little carbonation. Some astringency. Taste is medium sour, even a little sapid. Final is average.

Tap at Zichovec Winter Affair 2026. Watery, fizzy. But a very classic berliner. Dry hops adds nice grassy leafy flowery touch. Lactic character present. Good berliner.

Disfrutable y rica

Bottle shared with the boys. Hidegkomlózott berliner weisse? Mixed ferm IPA? Dunno, dont care, nagyon fasza, frissítő, erősen citrusos, kissé füves, gyümölcsös komlókarakterrel operál, aminek szépen megágyaz a kellemesen behangolt savasság.

From tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2018. Bright and breezy Berliner with an aroma of citric lemon, notes of grassy and fruity bitter hops, lightly tropical, and peppery yeast. Refreshing and very easy, light body, lovely and surprising beer!
