It was a pleasure to host Anthony from one of NY’s finest, Other Half. Together we put together a DIPA that’s big on oats and heavily hopped with Citra, Cashmere, Chinook, Hash & Sabro’s sister; HBC472, all contributing to huge passionfruit aromas, with hints of citrus peel, coconut and vanilla helping to make this a deceptively drinkable DIPA.

440ml can from Cotteridge Wines and shared with the KL Tasting Crew. Poured a hazy golden straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus, floral, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, boozy, light floral, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can at Fermentorem, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some pine, and bready malt. Flavour is very bright, with lots of resinous hops, pine, and caramely biscuity malt. Piney and resinous. This is great.
