440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb '24. Final beer of the night, one we probably could've done without but there we go. 3 years past it's BBD. Pours dark with a good beige head. Aroma of chocolate with mild raspberry in the shadows. Flavour profile is mostly chocolate although an integrated raspberry influence emerges, working well with the chocolate character with distant vanilla notes. Delightful chocolatey stout

440ml can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear almost black colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big raspberries, red-berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, dry roasty, light ashtray smoke, juicy raspberry, light lactose, chocolate vanilla palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Rich and smooth. The vanilla sweetness perfectly moderated the tartness of the raspberries. Another winner from Pressure Drop.

Malzig-säuerlicher Beginn, Himbeere, feine Herbe, etwas Schokolade. Weiterhin nach Himbeeren, die Säure lässt nach und eine angenehm milde Süße kommt hervor. Süffig, cremig, steigend malzig. Minimal herb bleibend, mit der Zeit wird der Alkohol erkennbar, stört aber nie. Mittellanger, zunehmend trockener Abgang. 11/12/11/11/12/11
