Einfach Liebhart.

Bottle, as Teutoburger pale ale. Golden color. Moserate aroma of flowers and orange. Malty sweetish, floral, citric flavor. Floral hops in the finish. Decent.

Bottle [thanks RW80] @ home (as Teutoburger Pale Ale). Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma initially made me think of a fresh pilsener, but after a short while is becomes more malty and grainy than I would have liked. Certainly not very hoppy. Flavor is similar: mostly malts, grainy a bit, slight hints of sweet malty flavors come a go but malt bitterness dominates. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok as a beer, not good as an IPA.

Teutoburger Pale Ale. Murky peachy orange. Tiny white head. Chalky honeyish aroma. Taste... Lean, dry honey and unbalanced bitter go hoppy note. Vague yeast, vague orange, creamy, perfumey, but this is laughably bad as a pale ale. The recipe is crap. End of discussion. Doesn’t work. Next!

330ml bottle in each case [parallel tasting as ’Liebhart’s Steinhart’ and ’Teutoburger Pale Ale’ at 5.8% and 5.4% respectively]. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge (small to average), frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish pale malty and floral, hoppy aroma, hints of orange, orange zest, a touch of pollen (rather weak and expressionless aroma, a touch of apple). Taste is dry, minimally piney and waxy hoppy, a fruity touch of yellow apple, minimally sweet pale malty basis (slightly sweet pale malty, minimally piney, hints of yellow apple, a tart touch of fruit acid). Last third of each as ’Cuvée’: additionally some malt spiciness, dry hints of green apple parings. 6/3/6/3/13. Individual scores: 7/3/6/3/12 resp. (5/2/3/6/11).

Bottle, thanks Koelschtrinker. Clear amber color with big eggshell head. Aroma is malty, honey, sweet, some cardboard, touch of earthy hops. Taste is fudge, toffee, honey, malty. Pleasant, but it seems quite "English Amber" to me.

Bottle. It says Pale Ale on the front but the label on the backside tells the history of IPAs. This is does not inspire confidence... Gold/yellow with a shade of orange. Minimal head with no staying power. Weak aroma of malts and mangos. Taste is malts and apricots. Some honey and a little bit earthy. Low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Where did the hops go? Disappointing.

0.33 l bottle from ’Biermuda’ as ’Teutoburger Pale Ale’, best before January 2017. Clear, golden amber with a large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and a bit floral aroma of orange, tangerine and some honey. Sweetish, quite fruity taste of orange, lots of tangerine, honeyish malts and some caramel, followed by a short, medium bitter and slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Pale Ale, easily drinkable and refreshing.

Butilka:Deep golden, hazy, stable creamy off-white head; moderate dryish herbal-piney nose, delicate bready-malty background; dryish moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, not too soft; moderate lingering dryish lemony-piney finish. Not earth-shaking, but well made and well drinkable...
