500ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Weak, monotonous, toasty, nutty, malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge. Taste is minimally sweet, toasty, nutty, dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, minimally dry, grassy hoppy overtones with a light metallic touch. Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, minimally prickly carbonation. Very simple, monotonous, anaemic - so-so.

Bottle. Amber coloured. Good head. Aroma: Malt, nuts, sourness. As it gets warmer there’s also some marzipan and chocolate. Taste: Malty, spicy and a little bit of sweetness. Decent carbonation. Aftertaste: German hops, sour and alcoholic warmth. Ok.

0,5 l bottle. Dark clear amber in the glass. More than one finger light beige head. Some chocolate on the nose. Taste is sourish malt, little bit chocolate. Can not really convince.

Recht langweiliger Malzantrunk, der sich mit leichter Süße fortsetzt. Später nur wenig würziger, monoton, lanweilig. 7/6/5/5/7/5

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a beautiful, warm, dark amber with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and maple syrup. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel. Lightly roasted malt accents and a dry finish without any greater bitterness. Perfectly balanced. 050807

Bottle, 5.8%. Clear brown colour. The flavour is bready with a rough bitterness. Not sweet. The hop flavour reminds me of Alkoholfrei, only less revolting.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Amber coloured, smaller fluffy off-white head; delicate nose: caramelly with a touch of toasted malt and an uncertain fruitiness; rather light bodied, light - as well - sweetish-bitter flavour; a metallic tinge in the faint malty-bitter finish. A thinnish, boring brew........
