Bottle. Sticky and roasty with bourbon, chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa. Full and medium sweet, mild boozy. Rich with lots of chocolate. Very damn tasty.

Bottle thanks to Abz Kenny. It looks jet black, oily with a small dark tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, rich roasted malt, bourbon biscuits, chewy, toothy, vanilla fudge, toffee, coffee grounds, mocha, tarry, rocky road, earthy, toasted marshmallow and bourbon. The taste is slick, toothy, chewy, toothy, tannin, oak, vanilla fudge, chocolate cake, vanilla cake frosting, warming alcohol, warming alcohol, jammy berry, rocky road, damp oak and toothy vibes with a drying finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Oily, slick mouth feel. Straight forward, but big and well made.

Weer typisch een cycle, Bourbon, chocolade, zo wat een koolzuur, wordt na een tijdje wat minder, basic ba stout , degelijk maar niet fantastisch..

Bottle shared at yearly Fryslân tasting. Opaque pitch black color, average sized brown head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, bourbon / liquor, malt bitter. For cycle, this is alright. If a Dutch brewery would make this we'd be going crazy.

A little drier than all the rare dos variants. Lots of booze still. Some roast and lemon. Chocolate, coffee. But at least a little drier than the adjunct laden stouts they do. Sweet and super boozy end. Tap at brewery.

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, Team Purchase - Watford, 25/06/21. Pitch black with a good sized tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, charr, spice, raisins, toffee. Taste comprises dark chocolate, dried fruits, light spice, roast malts, dates, raisins. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent but not overly complex and as luxurious as Cycle impy's usually are.
