Keg tap at Nook, Heaton Moor, Stockport. Light to mid-gold, clear with a good bit of visible carbonation. Very little head but quite a lot of latticed lacing. Piney hop oils in the aroma, some grapefruit peel with a slight metallic edge. Taste is bitter but not overly so, with a an intense hoppy citrus mid-sip. It backs away just that little bit in the finish, but there's plenty of back-of-the-tongue pine in the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation. Not a hard-bitter nor a blow-you-away IPA, but it's more than solid and a decent representation of the style.

Bottle from Honest Brew and consumed at home Attenkirchen Sunday 15th December 2019 listening to Aldous Harding - Designer and preparing a Special Chicken Biryani from Dan Toombs, Curry Guy book. Pours pale gold with a white head, looks good. Nice thrusting bitterness, dry finish comes quickly, quite a lot of pineapple. Good.

Bottle from Honest Brew. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of pine, menthol and orange rind. Flavour of lemon, honey and grain with a bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A good, bitter IPA, reminiscent of those from ten years ago.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. Wisp and a few bubbles of white. Nose has stinky pine. Biscuit malt. Dried peel. Some menthol. Taste has some biscuit sweetness, but is mostly piny, sappy bitter. Medium body. Pretty oily. Foamy carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish. Nice.
