Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Nicely roasty aroma with coffee, cocoa, some burnt notes with a touch of charcoal, chocolate. Lingering roast. Bittersweetish flavour with a long bitter finish. Body is medium to full. Solid basic Imperial Stout, nice and roasty.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Stas. Black, tan foam. Roast, coffee, licorice, ash, hops, a bit sweetish, very bitter, a bit umami.

Can at home. Opaque black color with a medium to full sized brown colored head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, very roasty. Flavor is malts, roasty, really strong dark chocolate and strong dark chocolate bitter. Even almost too much for me. Heavy, really a beer that almost has to be chewed on.

33cl Blik, gehaald bij Walhalla. Zwart, beige-bruine kraag. Volle body. Erg lekkere klassieke RIS.
