0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts'. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, some bourbon and traces of vanilla. Moderately sweet, fairly roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, cocoa, hard roasted coffee, lots of licorice, ash, only a touch of bourbon and hints of vanilla, followed by a long, very roasty-bitter, quite earthy finish. Full body, smooth and almost creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Heavy stuff, very intense, unfortunately only with a minor barrel influence.

33cl Fles, dank Kermis! Zwart, bruine kraag. Aroma van bourbon, vanille, drop, geroosterde mouten, licht fruitig, koffie. Smaak van bourbon, geroosterde mouten, wat koffie, drop, iets boozy, licht fruitig van de bourbon, bitterzoete finish. Volle body, zacht. Goed.

Black with a short lived tan head. Aroma of big oak, whiskey, booze, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Tap at Walhalla. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Near burnt roasted malts, coffee, soft earthy notes. Mild grainy bourbon soft edge. Full body and soft carbonation. Pretty nice.
