Thanks to tderoeck for sharing! Sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2018. Dark brown, black hue, little tanned head. Nose is prune syrup, sugar, low chemical glue nature. Taste is strange but interesting cloying syrup de Liège, sugar, prune syrup, chocolate, dark fruit syrup,.. Bit heavy but far more interesting & enjoyable than expected. Interesting prune syrup body.

At Brugs Bierfestival, 4 February 2018. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!

Hazy dark brown with a lasting, off-white head. Aroma of candied fruits, cinnamon, cookie, (roasted) malt, brown sugar, licorice and liquor. Tastes medium to heavy caramel-like sweet, quickly balanced by a light hoppy/spicy bitterness. Licorice notes throughout, ending alcoholic (brand) and sweetish. Medium to full body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Not too sophisticated, but I utterly enjoyed it.

4/II/18 - sample @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2018-138) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the last beers of the festival!

Clear dark amber to red brown beer, small creamy irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, sweet malts, soft roast, dried fruits, some chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: surprisingly sourish, fruity, some apple and pear syrup (Sirope de Liège), some liquorish, pretty bitter, aniseed. Aftertaste: spicy, liquorish, bitter, malty, soft roast, more spices, aniseed, too spicy for me.
