From tap at Loyal Legion, Portland. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, lots of notes of wood and vanilla, Bourbon, toffee, sweet dried fruits, raisins, touch of plum, a little booze. Flavour is heavy sweet and lightly bitter with some booze. Body is full. Rich and heavy BA Barley Wine with a good barrel influence.

Poured from the tap (wooden 2018 Femur). Near black with small beige head. Quite boozy, chocolate and booze, unrefined, but decent.

Draught at Portland Craft, Vancouver
Dark amber color, opaque, no head. Deep aroma of malt, fudge, caramel, and light fruity esters. Full bodied, sweet, drinking liquid caramel, with malt depth, sweet nuts, hints of vanilla; the whiskey seems to add a dimension here.
In small quantities, this is an excellent liqueur.
Wonderful Barley Wine.

Cloudy, dark amber, not much head. Lots of toffee and wood on the nose. Really sticky and rich, toffee, dates, raisins, all that sort of thing. Again , a lot of alcohol and wood to lend the balance. Ends up being quite good.

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of the rye whiskey barrels upfront along with heaps of caramel and toffee. Flavour is intense, with lots of caramel, rye, lots of wood and toffee. Intense and robust, but not too abrasive. Fantastic.
