Tap at La Source, Brussels, 5th February 2026. Pours off clear and straw coloured. Aroma is herbal. Taste is herbal and aromatic, floral.

Dorée pâle, col fin blanc-cassé. Nouvelle version - nouvelles herbes pour cette sortie 2023.
Arôme sur un bouquet frais herbacé - petite note de bourgeons de pins, reprises de suite par un côté fruité - citronné frais - sous-bois.
Palais est plaisant avec un caractère malté - céréales dont l'épeautre qui apporte d'emblée une base un peu grillée. Le tout repris par une bonne amertume herbacée - dont la gentiane qui en a la bonne caractéristique. Fine astringence arrive aussi. Le côté verveine vient quant à elle apporte une note plus fruitée sur les agrumes - citronné avec une pointe de mentholé. Le côté bourgeon de pin arrive en surplus et donne ce coté plus botanique/sapin. A cela revient ce côté un peu grillé des céréales, très discret, mais je le note juste en fin de bouche. La fin de bouche présente une belle pétillance qui donne un côté grinçant aux dents et pétille sur la langue avec un côté fin acidulé/astringent de citron.

33cl can (7,3%) from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: thin, off-white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: orange, herbal, mint, spicy. T: full malty base, citrus, herbal, spicy, mint touch, biscuits, thyme, honey, nice balanced herbal bitterness, soft carbonation, really good for the style, fully enjoyed.

Nice sour beginning. Easy to drink, slightly sour with a sour fruity grainy back. Nice and very fruity. Nice.

On tap. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of mint, herbal malt, mild sourness. Taste of sour lime, white grapes, some cucumber.

Pretty clear blond orange beer, huge foamy off-white head, bit irregular, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, spicy, lots of orange peel, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, bit spicy, lemony, good stuff, spicy herbal, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bit oxidized, malty touch, lemony, fruity touch, bit sweet, orange peel.

Taster at Powys place courtesey of Saeglopur, big thanks. lightly murky color, small white head. smells ginger, herbal, flowery, rosemary, bit citric, thyme, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes ginger, herbal, bit citric, thyme, earthy, light sweetness. finishes lightly bitter / sweet with notes of citrus, herbs and ginger notes. good to drink, good complexity, smooth.
