Made for BLES’s Nationale Bierhappening of 2010 in the new trend of extra hoppy beers which is all over Belgian beer culture since some years. Thick, creamy, sticky head, hazy orange blonde colour. Aroma of soapy, oily and peppery hops, caramel, walnut, ginger, mango; dried fruits in the mouth, nutty malts, strong resinous, spicy hop bitterness, long and dry. I’d classify this as an IPA.

Bottle at Hasselt Beer Festival, Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium 12.11.11 in company of Loz, Jackie, Simon and David. Pours light amber with white head, hoppy but not as hoppy as the ’extra hoppy’ description suggests. Fruity and with good malty backbone, enjoyable beer. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cloudy orange beer, off-white creamy adhesive head. Aroma: fruity hops, little sweet, strawberries and raspberries, floral scents, a little malts and caramel. MF is ok, medium body. Taste has a little malts, fruity hops, pineapple. Aftertaste has a little caramel first, then is very dry. Mainly hops. Interesting but not a very balanced beer, just hops, hops, hops. Could've been more balanced I believe.
