04/02/2018 - glass shared with tderoeck, 77ships and rubin77 @ BAB, Bruges. Clear blond, no head left as I got it, but there was a lemon in it. First I thought the guys made a joke with me but apparently the brewer put it in it. If I could give a 0 for appeance, I would do it. I never want a lemon in my beer, even not in a cola. Nose was thin, bit honey, bit lemon. Taste if a bit lemonade like, thin. Damn you.

F: thin, white, quick gone. C: blond to pale gold, hazy, piece of lemon floating in. A: lemon, bit fruity, grassy. T: soda lemonade, some vaguely fruity, citrus, bit lemon peels, medium carbonation, light body, average for such low ABV. Sample shared with tderoeck, 77ships and Bierridder_S @ Bruges Beer Festival 2018.

Thanks to tderoeck, Bierridder_S & Rubin77. Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Brugs Bier Festival 2018. Pale golden, little white, piece of lemon floating in it, they actually put a piece of lemon into this one, seriously. Nose is dirty lemon water, cardboard,… Taste is stale yeast, stale cardboard, spoiled pale lager, lemon water,… Taste is dirty cardboard stale pale lager with lemon water mixed in it. Embarrassing.

4/II/18 - 33cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2018-93) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the last beers of the festival!

Clear blond beer, small creamy white head, unstable and dissipates quickly, due to A PIECE OF LEMON in the glass. WTF? Apparently the brewer believes this beer actually gets better if you throw a piece of lemon in it while serving it at a beer festival. Ok then? Aroma: well, guess what? Lots and lots of lemon, slightly malty, but lemon is overpowering everything. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: all malts, grains, some cow fodder, soft bitterness, and obviously lots and lots of lemon. Aftertaste: more lemon, bit grassy, grains, rather plain and boring and hard to judge with all the lemon aroma in it. Which was probably the purpose of the whole set-up.
