Clear orange beer, creamy yellowish irregular head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, tropical fruits, lychees, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, caramel, citrus, orange peel, mandarins. Lovely stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, resinous, citrus, lots of grapefruit. Aftertaste: very bitter, resinous, very dry finish, piny, lemon peel, some grapefruit.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 19 April 2017) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, rye bread, orange, hints of mint and some metallic aromas. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, caramel, spicy rye, a touch of resin and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the Eebria taproom. Opens with a little gush - from a can! Pours clear orange-gold with a big, billowing off-white froth. The nose holds dry, spicy grains, pine needles, orange peel. Lightly sweet flavour with more dried rye grains, minerals, piney bitterness, light grass, some rindy citrus. Light to medium bodied with active carbonation. Somewhat drying in the finish, with assertive piney bitterness, mellow toasted grain sweetness, tosated caramel, more citrus peel. Not bad overall.
