This dry hopped pale ale contains the same malt bill as classic Fort Point, but with a dry hop of Vic Secret. Pouring a hazy golden color, Vic Secret Fort Point emits herbaceous aromas of lime, and mellow citrus. Strong grapefruit pith & biscuity flavors wash the palate with the familiar smooth mouthfeel and medium body of our signature pale ale.

Canned 4/11/18, drunk 5/8/18 and on draught at Canton, 4/22/18.
Moderately hazy, perhaps less-so than the Fort Points of the past (or just less so than DDH FP, maybe). Solid white head tops a sunny, orange-lemon body.
Tangerine skin and light meyer lemon pulp in the nose and backed by strong cracker. Immediately get a very dry impression from this with light pine, leafy green spice and lightly sharp ester all accentuating/pronouncing this.
In the mouth it's heavily dry, too much so, I think. Little/no juice character and in its place, just tons of cracker and moderately sharp ester. Lingering astringency, even, with heavy green hop bitterness. Just too bitingly dry. Where the hell is the juice?? So bizarre for Vic Secret, which is almost always like drinking a glass of fresh squeezed tangerine juice.

Can, by way of a trade. Peachy gold. Fully opaque. Frothy, lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has sharp orange and lemon. Notes of apricot and yellow melon. A little pine needle, too. Background of clean, dry malts. Taste is bright, sharp, lemon and lime bitter. No sweetness here. Bright and clean mouthfeel. Trillium fizz. All that sharpness on the finish, too. Great APA.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving scant lacing. Apricot and pear aromas. Dry with sweet papaya and pear upfront turning to hot mango before the dry, lasting sour pith finish.

Pours a hazy, orange-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is grassy, with citrus notes. Flavor is very citrusy--grapefruit, lime--with some tropical fruit and pine/spruce hop bitterness in the finish. Good beer.
