Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 34B:29B/28B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF NOV.2018). AROMA: medium-high flower-like aroma (elderberry) with a medium acid background. APPEARANCE: pink color and clear. thin white pinkish head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a medium-high elderberry flavor. medium acidity in place of bitterness. finishes dry. PALATE: thin body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a lot of ingredients where only one stands out. unbalanced.

Pretty clear beautiful pink beer, practically no head, small white rim on the side of the glass. Aroma: bit dirty, sulphur touch, fruity, raspberries on first impression, then blackberries, green apple skin, rotten fruits. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty acidic start, bit of rotten berries, somewhat metallic, funky touch. Aftertaste: very sour, lots of lemon juice, bit chemical, nail polish, apple skin, some tannins.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy reddish pink, nose is berries, apple, funk, little burnt rubber, taste is tart berries up front, harsh and rubbery in the finish and linger. Unfortunate. --- Beer merged from original tick of Foraged Autumn 2017 on 06 Sep 2018 at 09:53 - Score: 5

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark pink. Ring of pale pink head. Nose has sticking plaster, first off. Some apple. The damsons and the berry fruits are totally lost in this. Taste is dry and light sour. Light body. More of the off notes to finish. Bad.
