Bottled@Alex Tasting 2021. Very deep brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is roasted, some nutty, toffeeish and mild toasted tones. Flavou ris nuty, roasted and some sweet malty tones with a wee bit of tartness in the background (old cold coffee like). Somewhat ashy finish.

27 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke. Cheers to Ama Deke, Erwin, John & Meeki! Hazy black, thick, slowly thinning, foamy, beige head. Aroma of hazelnut paste, walnut, praliné, earth, black tea, coffee roast, kahlua, dried fig. Taste is medium malty sweet, caramel & chocolate surrounded by lots of nuts, bitter edges of coffee, tea leaves, dried dark fruits in the back giving a sourish touch. Dry, herbal hoppy finish, lingering nuts, chocolate & mocha. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Nuts all the way, nicely done.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of dark bittersweet malts. Not particularly nutty I suppose. Candy sweetness in the finish.
