Keeping the ABV low whilst maintaining flavour is a difficult balancing act. A higher than usual mash temperature gives the final beer a fuller mouthfeel that belies its low strength. Using a punchy combination of Motueka and Columbus hops sets the tone somewhere between tropical palm groves and pine forests. The fresh lemon zest aroma is backed up with a touch of good old fashioned hop bitterness that leaves you wanting another.

Light, low ABV, sessionable hazy beer that is best enjoyed fresh!

Keg at the Experiment, 08/11/18. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is straw, grass, light floral whisper, tangerines, pithy citrics. Taste comprises light pine, grassy bite, hint of minerality, raw tropcial fruit notes, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Decent session gear.

Keg at the Experiment - Hackney. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a frothy, pure white head. Quite pithy and dry overall, with notes of grapefruit rind, floral hops, crisp pale malts, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry on the finish, with further pithy grapefruit, lemon peel. Easy drinking.
