This is our super-crisp, teasingly twisted taste of summer. Gently kettle-soured to complement and enhance the citrus notes of Valencia and blood oranges.
It’s summer in a can.

Can, 4.5%. Citric fruit aroma with a hint of urine. Almost clear golden orange colour. Unstable, fizzy head. The flavour is citric and refreshing. Lemony notes with a bit of funk. Refreshing.

Can at home picked up from Tesco. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big breakfast orange, grapefruit peel, light tang, candied orange segments, zesty orange. Head fades. Flavour is composed of light pale grains, sharp orange juice, light stale grains, zesty, pithy citrus in the finish. Palate is tangy, pithy, highish carbonation, drying finish.

Can. Tesco. Lightly hazy, green tinged gold. Slim white head. Nose has blood orange. Grapefruit. Ripe sweet lemon. Yeasty bread. Taste is tart and sweet in decent balance. On the palate it’s pretty thin, verging on watery. Fine carbonation. A little drying. Thin and watery finish. Well it sets off good, but thereafter feels like a diluted version of a half decent beer.

Can pi led up at Tesco Inverurie. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, juicy blood orange vibes, kumquat, orange sherbet, sour candy and marmalade. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, zesty, juicy, loads of sour orange, orange sherbet, kumquat, pithy, firmly dry, puckering, orange chewits and just a touch earthy with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Quite surprised by some of the low rates. I find this bright, zingy and quenching. Moreish.
