L'Arogante Session

Session

L'Arogante in Ghent, East Flanders, Belgium 🇧🇪

Brewed at/by: De Proefbrouwerij
  IPA - Session Regular
Score
6.91
ABV: 3.9% IBU: 40 Ticks: 18
The session is low in acohol but packed with flavour. A more complex malt bill and the addition of oat flakes give this beer a smooth yet dry and drinkable backbone that also lets the hops shine through.

Magnum provides a soft bitterness while the American aromahops Cascade, Centennial and Mosaic are reponsible for a beautiful bouquet of tropical aroma's.

Spritzig, getreidig, langer Nachgeschmack. Gut! 9/11/11/11/8/11

0.33 l can from Ambasada. Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy pale golden to golden, small frothy off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity, citrusy, orange and grapefruit, some elderflower, some spice, some grainy malts. Quite thin and dry. Earthy and ripe fruity flavour. Light but lasting bitter finish. Moderate carbonation.

Can, courtesy of Meeki - many thanks! Pours clear golden with a stable, frothy, white head. Aroma of peach, citrus, wheat, yellow grapefruit, yellow apple, breadcrust, unripe mandarin. Taste has sweet peach, mandarin, apple & pear, yeasty base supportive of bready maltiness, spicy notes of pepper & spruce, bit zesty sour also thanks to the carbonation. Bitter, grassy & peppery hoppy finish, unripe yellow fruit underneath with lingering zest, retronasal bread & 'pure' malts. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Extremely quenching, well done.

Very good, dense, lightly yellowish head over hazy yellow beer. Fresh oranges, orangejuice, bit nectarine and lunaria. Very bitter, very tasty, again citrus and lunaria; excellent, full of flavour. Nowhere empty, nowhere lean; stable head gives some extra creaminess, mild carbonation. 3.9%?? F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C !

L’ Arogante Session 3.9% Clear gold with a floral hop bouquet. The light body has a somewhat rough flavor but as a Seijo Ishio cheapie it’s alright I guess.
