Bottle shared in London during the BEAU tasting. Big thanks to Danny for this treat. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy tan head. Huge character, loads of peat, kicking alcohol, background cocoa, tobacco, scorched earth, moss, vanilla, burnt caramel. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with more strong peat character, lightly sweet cocoa, nips of raisin, modest roast, earth. Great depth. Awesome beer overall. Incredibly rich barrel character.

Bottle. Black oily pour. Aroma of rich fruity whisky, chocolate, smoke, licorice, coffee, molasses, caramel and subtle peat. Taste has rich smokey fruity whisky, smooth peat, chocolate, licorice, burned caramel, coffee, tarr, molasses and a whisky forward boozy finish. Lots of rich flavors, in balance and sync with the beers. Finally a new great ba stout from uiltje. This is delicious.

Bottle. Black. Roast, chocolate, sherry, vanilla, whisky in the complex aroma. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor with roast, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, whisky and a slight hint of peat. This is so nice!
