Can from Hoptimism. Deep hazy very dark brown colour with a tan head. Roasted malty and chocolate aroma hints of citrus fruit. Taste light bitter with sweet hints. Surprisingly thin body.

Brown with a frothy white head that fades. Nuts, toffee and a dash of sanitizer on the aroma. Taste is mildly caramel and bready sweet. Body to the full side of medium, carbonation prickly, texture somewhat watery texture at the end, which is dominated by a mineral water prickliness unfitting for the style. Okay.

330ml can sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Deep lightly hazed brown, off-white head. Aroma is grainy nutty malt. Taste presents a nutty rye bread brown ale, some malt grain.. expected more of a hop presence, being an American brown ale, seems to be more of a traditional affair, but it's palatable and balanced.. just not quite what was expected.
